Alexa loves to be kept busy being entertained. She loves to PLAY!

Here are the cute kids that I watch from time to time...and Alexa gets to play with!

This was our first official SWIM DAY in the neighborhood (not really, just a few of us got together on one of the really HOT days to enjoy some cooling off)! This is Alexa's good friend Kyra, who she gets to hang out with quite often!...They are just six weeks apart (Kyra was born the same day as Jackson).

As soon as we go into our front yard, Alexa tries to dart on over to the PARK across the street! She really enjoys herself when we play there!

Dogs are a favorite of Alexa's! She loves to BARK at them...real ones and not-so-real ones! It is a good way to distract her when she gets upset..."Alexa where's the Dog? Ruff Ruff!".... :)

Evening at the Crump's

The night before Dad ran the Ogden Marathon, we all got together at Ronnie and Alisha's home for dinner and hangout time! It was a lot of fun for us all. Alexa had a blast spending time with everyone. FAMILY definitely makes her HAPPY!

Tyler's Birthday!

May 13th--Tyler's birthday was on Mother's Day this year. He is 28 years old. It was fun celebrating the day together! We made each other breakfast and did all the little traditional things we do for eachother on our special days...cards, gifts, poster, etc! It was a nice day sharing it together and with family!

Since Tyler's birthday DID fall on Mother's day, and we spent the day with both of our Mother's, we decided to celebrate his birthday a little bit more the following day by having my Mom and sisters watch Alexa while I took Tyler out to the Hale Theatre! We had a lot of fun being together just the two of us! Thank you!

1 YEARS OLD!

May 11, 2007--Alexa's 1 year old birthday!

Alexa & I spent the day at Grandma & Grandpa K's home while Tyler was at a golf tournament! Grandma Janis took us out shopping and we had a little picnic! It was so much fun!


Kaci made Alexa this cute sign that she was able to enjoy throughout her birthday!

Grandma & Grandpa Shelley came over later to celebrate Alexa's birthday! We had dinner and opened some presents and watched a little of the Jazz game! We all had a good time!

Alexa had a great time playing in her birthday cake (thanks Sara for making it!)! She didn't know what to do with all the frosting on her hands, so she started wiping it all over her legs! She really liked the m&m's on the sides of the cake.

She had just as fun washing up in the kitchen sink when it was all over!
She is a HAPPY one year old!

Alexa was lucky to have spent her birthday with many of her FAVORITE people! Thank you for sharing Alexa's big day with her! We had so much fun! Thank you for all the fun gifts and love you give her! She loves you all so much.

fun little moments

Alexa has been really enjoying SHOES lately! She is understanding that we need to have shoes on to go places...like in the car and outside! So she will bring me my shoes and try to put them on me various times during the day! This particular moment Alexa was so excited to go that she was helping me put on her shoes by lifting her feet up before I put them on her! She is so smart!

These three pictures are showing one of mine & Alexa's favorite times of the day...waiting for Daddy to come home! Since the weather has been nice, we like to go outside on the porch and front yard, and play until we see Tyler drive up! Alexa gets so excited to see her dad come home. She also really likes to be outside. She is trying to figure out how to get down the steps of our porch...she has finally mastered the one coming out of our door, but the other ones are more tricky!

Alexa is always making us laugh, she is just too cute! She loves to be silly. She loves to play.

It is so cute how Alexa LOVES her stuffed animals! She definitely has her favorites, but she loves to hold them, especially right after she wakes up in the morning or from a nap. She enjoys playing with them in her crib too!

One of my favorite little moments with Alexa is right after I bathe her and I get to wrap her up in a towel and just cuddle with her for a small moment. She really likes bath time!...and I like it too!

This is our little rendition of "Where is Thumbkin," but we do it with little animal finger puppets (thanks Heidi for the puppets, we ARE using them often!). Alexa really enjoys music and dancing to the beat of music. She is starting to enjoy Barney because of all the songs...she doesn't really watch it, but she does dance!




This was Alexa's first dip into her new little pool! It is just mini-sized, but just enough to get wet on a HOT day!




Last Thursday was Melissa Pace's (maiden name Palmer) BABY SHOWER! She has to be the cutest pregnant lady! It is always good seeing you again Mel! She is having a little BOY in July, and naming him BECKHAM! ...his nickname I heard through the grapevine is going to be piglet. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy Melly! You will be a great MOM!
