bees game

Jeff invited us to the Bees game once again and it was so much fun! My brother Adam and his cute little family came, Jeff and Amber, my Mom and Sara, and Us! It was fun hanging out in the Suite and watching the game. The atmosphere there is always so much fun. Alexa had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone as well!
The Bees Mascot came into our Suite to say hello to all the kids, well, Alexa and Mika did not want anything to do with this guy...they were so scared!

Krommenhoek FHE

Tyler and I were the hosts this month for FHE with my side of the family. We decided to have it at a park close by our home. We had BBQ and other yummy food provided by everyone, had a lesson on ATTITUDE, and then played FRESHER! It is always fun getting together. Family is the best thing!

Stewart Falls

Going to the Cabin is one of the funnest things we get to do! We get to enjoy eachother, as well as the beautiful scenery and stewart falls! It is also a major plus that we get to go boating as well! We were able to stay the weekend that Kyle came home from his mission! These pictures are of our hike to the falls.

Alexa and Jackson had a lot of fun throwing rocks into the water!

We are so happy to have Amber and Jackson back in Utah (and are excited to have Dave back soon too!) Alexa has had the funnest time getting to know her cousin again, and playing with him!

It was perfect weather while we were hiking to the falls. It was just COOL enough that it wasn't SO HOT! What a fun weekend!

(Amber, thanks for the pictures--we didn't have our camera)

Quite the Bite

Alexa and I were at the park today, kind-of a "park play day" with others from my neighborhood...well, one minute Alexa was playing happily on the playground with a boy named Marley, and the next minute I
hear a loud cry out from her. Marley had decided to give Alexa a some kind of "tattoo" by biting her arm. This picture was taken about seven hours later...that was quite the bite.

Shelley Look-Alike Meter

So, everyone has there own idea of whether Alexa looks more like Tyler or more like Me...so we put it to the test!

...and the results show that she looks like BOTH of us equally! We mix pretty well I'd say! Alexa is the cutest kid ever! Don't you agree?! :)

Welcome Home Kyle!

Elder Kyle Shelley has returned from his MISSION in BRAZIL! He was supposed to arrive on Thursday, but had a delay and didn't get to the airport until the following morning. It was so much fun seeing him for the first time in two years!

Alexa and Tyler made a cute "Welcome Home Kyle" sign that Alexa was so proud of! She had a good time finally meeting this "Uncle Kyle" whose picture has been on our fridge since she was born!

Alexa and Grandma wore matching outfits to the airport! They looked so cute in their white and brown!

youth conference

Tyler and I were both able to attend YOUTH CONFERENCE this year! We both have callings in the Young Men's and Young Women's Presidencies! It has been a fun thing having both of us with similar callings and able to be together a lot of the time and busy at the same time, but it has also been a little tricky always having to bring Alexa along with us...this Youth Conference was the first time that both of us were away from her over night. We missed her a ton, but it was good for her to be away from us and hanging out with family!...She was in good hands (just like when I went to Girls Camp). We have wonderful parents!

We went to Clarkston and Logan for our Youth Conference. It was so much fun! The first night we attended the MARTIN HARRIS PAGEANT!

This is our 32 year old Bishop on the Right. We have quite the young and unique ward!

The following day our main activity was TUBING down the Logan "river" and the hanging out at First Dam (in Logan Canyon)! The water was FREEZING...but it was so much fun and quite the experience!

What a FUN and TIRING weekend! It is so much fun being involved with the Youth. There is never a dull moment with these kids...even the car ride was entertaining! It sometimes feels like we are about their age...but then other times I feel like I was never that young! Good times!

I can dance, I can twirl, there's a Princess in every girl!

Once upon a time...

There lives three princesses who get to play together ALL DAY LONG every MONDAY!

There is Princess Alexa, of course, but who are these two new girls?

Their names are Princess Katie (3 years), and Princess Sharon (6 months)!

They get to laugh and play together with ME! They are so cute, and they all get along with each other very well! It is good for Alexa to have other children to play with and learn to share with! It is a good little side job for me, and it is nice because I don't even have to pay for Alexa's daycare while I work! :)

And they lived happily ever after (every Monday)!

YW Girls Camp

I wanted to share a little bit of my experience at GIRLS CAMP! It was so much fun being able to experience a little taste of it with the girls. It was at the HEBER CAMP!

We did a lot during the day I was up there! We did crafts, hiked, hung-out, had a fireside with the Stake President, and had our own ward testimony meeting!

On our hike we were able to see some really GREAT VIEWS! It is so pretty up there!

I really love my calling! It is so much fun working with the Young Women. They are all so neat and unique...and they keep us leaders on our toes!

PINEVIEW BOATING!

We went with some of my side of the family up to PINEVIEW RESEVOIR to boat and stay! It was a BEAUTIFUL day!...HOT weather and WARM, REFRESHING water!

Dad took Tyler and Jeff on a wild taco tube ride!

Sara, Jeff, and Amber smiling for the camera!

Dad and Mom relaxing in the SUN!

Tyler and Alexa are at it again on the tube! Tyler is excited to get Alexa familiar with boating, Tubing, and the water!
