Cute Little Cousins

Alexa LOVES all of her cousins so much, but there is a special little bond with her only little girl cousin (her age). Mika and Alexa are so cute to watch play together! Alexa talks about Mika all of the time, and pretends to call Mika on her play phone about ten times a day :)

The Greatest Fun Spot You'll Ever Know...Cherry Hill!

We decided to take a little vacation to CHERRY HILL! We had a great time, Alexa was in her own little heaven! We enjoyed all the swimming and water fun, and then the Crumps joined us that evening and the following morning for camping/swimming/batting cages/hamster haven/etc! It was really nice to get out into the sun and water while summer is still here (having Karli in the middle of summer this year has kept us indoors a lot more). Gotta' love Cherry Hill, baby!

My Three Amigos

These three people are so special. How lucky am I that I get to LIVE with them! Tyler is probably the BEST husband in the whole world! He is so good with all three of his girls, so patient, kind, and fun. And, our daughters are AMAZING! Alexa is so full of fun and energy. She likes to play and take care of everything and everyone! :) Karli is so peaceful and sweet, too bad she can't just stay a little baby! It is so FUN spending everyday with these three!

Some Happy Lovin'

Thanks to Alexa, we took a lot of pictures today...she LOVES playing with the camera (if we let her)! So now I have an excuse to tell you that I absolutely LOVE being able to play with these two little girls every day! THANK YOU TYLER for working so hard so that I can! Every day is filled with new adventures...that's for sure! Alexa is so fascinated by having a baby sister. She is filled with question after question or just stating facts about Karli. She is the BEST helper, and Karli continues to be an easy baby. They are both such sweethearts!

Yummy Peach Pie

This is one of my favorite desserts! I thought I'd share it on the blog since I love it when others share fun recipes...

(okay, this isn't a picture of this actual pie, but the closest I could find! I like to cover the whole top with the whipping cream)

12 Saltine crackers, finely crushed

3 egg whits, beat until thick and stiff

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

1/4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla

4-5 peaches or 1-2 big cans of peaches

Whipping Cream

Beat eggwhites until thick and stiff. Slowly beat in 1 cup sugar. Add Saltine crackers. Add pecans. Add baking powder and vanilla.

Butter Pie Plate, bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cool.

Slice peaches into it.

Put Whipping Cream on top.

Grandpa & Grandma Shelley's House
