Easter

On Saturday, we spent the day at Grandma & Grandpa Shelley's house. We did all their traditional Easter activities from decorating eggs, an Easter egg hunt, finding our Easter baskets...etc! We had a really great day. (My camera died right after I took this picture that day, so I will have to try and get some pictures from Alisha or Mom to add to the post. ) Alexa and Nathan were so cute to watch during the Easter egg hunts! Alexa is definitely obsessed with candy now, but we are trying to get her to like good food again :)
It is so much fun to watch Alexa growing up and enjoying all the traditions our families have. She loves to be involved with everything and she loves being around our families. It makes her so happy.
On Easter morning, Alexa woke up to the candy and eggs hidden around Grandma & Grandpa Krommenhoek's home. We collected the candy and split it all between us all--below is the design we made with the candy :) Dallas and Jamie blessed Caleb that day, so we had a nice day at church with all the family and then a fun evening with everyone. It was so great that the weather was so nice and warm...a nice glimpse into SPRING!

At the Krommenhoek's

We have been having fun staying at my parent's home in American Fork. My brother Dallas and his family-Jamie and new baby Caleb-have been visiting, so that has made it extra fun! Here are some pictures from our stay the last few days...they are mainly of Alexa's stay the last few days :)

**a little update on our new home--On Friday we signed the papers for the house!!! Saturday we rounded up our nice families and we moved our stuff into the house! Tuesday-ish we will be MOVING IN!!!! We need to wait until funding is all finalized...and then we will be homeless no more!

Homeless

We have been enjoying our 'homelessness' this past week since moving out of our home. We are in between homes at the moment, staying at my parents home in American Fork. It has been fun having 'no responsibilities' and just hanging out. Alexa has been loving all the people around all the time...and the animals. She loves her Grandparents, Aunts, & Uncles!
We are hoping to move into our new home this next week. It is in Highland, right on the boarder of Lehi/Highland area. We LOVE the area and LOVE the home. We are so excited! We'll keep you all updated as it happens.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

boy or a girl?

Well, we had a poll going to see what you thought we are having...36% say GIRL and 63% say BOY. We find out tomorrow who was right and who was wrong. Stay tuned to find out the results! :) We are really excited to find out whether Alexa will have a sister or a brother. The nurse said it sounds like girl heartbeat (but Alexa sounded like a boy heartbeat, so who really believes that theory?!).

BOY OR GIRL?...the results tomorrow!

What we have been up to

We have sold our home and need to be out by this Friday, which is very exciting and very sad at the same time (it is sad to be leaving all the good people and friends we have made while living in our home here in West Jorday)and should be doing a lot of this in the picture...

But instead this past week we have had the nasty flu bug that has put all three of us out of commission. Luckily we all didn't get it at the same time, so I was able to take care of Ty and Alexa the first part of the week, but I think that lack of sleep with Alexa wore me down and I ended up getting it at the end of the week...bummer.
We have been hermets in our home-resting, drinking fluids, & trying not to get anyone else sick. We are finally getting out of the worst of it. Good thing, because we need to get packing!
