Mail and a Truck

One of Alexa's favorite things to do everyday is go get the "mouw" with her very own key. If I say either of those words 'mail' or 'key' that is what she wants to do...and she is entertained FOREVER! It is so cute. She seems to really love to figure out how to fit the key in the keyholes. There is also a neighbor's cat who likes to come and play.

This is our new truck. One of our cars broke down, so we needed to get a something to replace it...well, Tyler has always really wanted a truck so we got one! It is so much fun. I didn't realize that I was going to enjoy it some much, but I do!

Once on this Island

On Saturday night, we were given some tickets to ONCE ON THIS ISLAND at Hale Center Theatre in West Valley. My parents came with us, and we had so much fun! (Thank you Amy and Sara for babysitting Alexa!) None of us had been to this Hale Theatre before, and we were in for a treat, because it was AWSOME! The theatre is really nice and a lot bigger than we were expecting. The show was SO GOOD. Tyler and I want to see it again...maybe we'll be given some more tickets :) It was so well done and so creative. Go see it if you get the chance!

BOO! this is Halloween!

We had a little Party here at our home with some friends. It was a lot of fun! We had our traditional Dinner in a Pumpkin, and lots of other yummy things. Everyone dressed up, we played a Mummy Wrap game, and hung-out the rest of the time.

Halloween Party

Amber and Dave had a Halloween Party at their home, and it was a blast! It is always fun to dress up and enjoy the fun of Halloween. I wish that we took pictures of everyone there...everyone was really creative with their costumes and looked really good! --there was Superman, Clark Kent, & Lois Lane, the Three Blind Mice, the "Random-ers" and a frog, a Farmer and his Cow, and a Biker Dude--We ate good food and played fun games. It was fun visiting with everyone.
If you can't tell, Alexa is cute little kitty cat (a "MEOW" is what she prefers to call it, she really likes "MEOWS" right now). Tyler and I are dressed up in DISCO attire...we just had to wear the Afros.

Fall Colors

Since Tyler's brother Garrett is going on a mission on Wednesday, we decided to get some pictures of the family. It ended up being the perfect day (we were worried because of the snow fall in the morning, but it all melted by the time we took pictures). The leaves were so perfect, and we found a really neat spot. These shots are just random ones from our camera...but you get the picture. Tyler has such a great family. I am so lucky to be a part of it. I love them all so much.

Pennies by the Inch

We had a lot of fun driving the youth in our ward around to do Pennies by the Inch. It was a freezing Saturday, so we hung out in our car with Alexa while the girls and boys ran door-to-door. We had fun taking random pictures, so we decided to share our fun outing. We both really enjoy our callings. The youth are such a fun and lively group.

Zippity-ZOO-Da-Day!

Alexa and I went to the Zoo with Grandma Shelley, Alisha & Nathan, and Amber & Jackson! It was fun. Alisha and Amber had never been to Hogle Zoo before. We all really enjoyed being outside, enjoying the fresh air, each other, and the zoo animals.

Alexa enjoyed all the animals, but her favorite animal at the zoo had to be the elephant! She can even talk like an elephant...it is the cutest thing. I couldn't even get her to look at me for a picture, she was so amazed at what she was seeing!

It was such a nice day. The view was beautiful, and so were the fall colors! The kids were so cute together. It is fun to get together and see them play. It is also really nice to be able to visit with my wonderful in-laws.

Alexa definitely LOVES animals. The zoo is a great place for her to see all the animals that we read about in books together, and watch in BARNEY Lets go to the Zoo! :) She loves making animal sounds and seeing all the fun animals.

Big Girl

Alexa and I were coming in from a morning run, and Alexa refused to let me help her take her shoes off. :) She unstrapped the velcro all by herself on one shoe...but soon gave up and let me help her.

Once and a while, Alexa does not want to be put in her high chair to eat. She likes to stand on a regular chair at the table. She makes quite a mess, but it is fun to let her do. She is such a little cutie. It is fun to see her grow and try to do things on her own.
