A few reasons we call her "Silly"

"The Potato Head Sisters!"
Alexa is our "silly girl."
She likes to come up with things to make us laugh,
and asks,"Is that funny...Is that funny?!"
*
This was so so funny...we really couldn't stop laughing!
I don't think the pictures do it justice, but Alexa put her hat over her face and was trying to "get" her Daddy and Karli!

Below are two funny little videos of Alexa's break dancing (they aren't very clear, sorry)! She is such a little character...we are constantly wondering where she comes up with some of the funny things she does...

Guess who this is?!

Are you done guessing?!

It is a picture of my little sis Amy when she was about 6 months old...it looks a lot like our little Karli! My Dad totally thought it was Karli when my Mom and Amy showed it to him.

It was fun to looks at the rest of Amy's scrapbook after that...to see what Karli could look like as she gets older. It's funny that people have always compared Alexa to my little sister Sara, and now Karli looks similar to Amy...there is a lot of Krommenhoek genes in our girls, but there is also a lot of Shelley in them too!

Sunday, Sunday

The girls were dressed all matching today...Alexa (and, I'm sure, Karli too) thought that was pretty funny!
And, after church, a little bit of soccer was played as the day quickly cooled down...boo hoo :(
Wow, our girls have the "scrunched" nose down, don't they?!

Garden Boxes

Yippee! We are going to have some garden boxes made for this year! I am so excited! Alexa is outside "helping" her Dad make them right now...so cute...with her own little tool box!
Seasons are the greatest thing, because the winter REALLY making you APPRECIATE the other seasons...especially Spring! I love that the weather has been so nice, and we are able to get outside a lot more!
We didn't take any pictures-bummer- but Tyler had to go down to Price on an overnighter for work...so Alexa, Karli, and I decided to join him and make a little trip out of it! We had a great time swimming at the hotel, playing at the park, and just RELAXING (well, three of us were able to)!

A few random pics

I walked out of the room for a minute...and came back to this! At first I was like, "Alexa, what are you doing?!"...but quickly caught myself, because it was SO CUTE :)

Karli is now crawling away!...it isn't her favorite thing, and usually does more of any army crawl, but it is nice to have her finally getting to places she wants to go...can't wait until she can keep up with her big sis!

Alexa really likes to take pictures...so why not show some of her work?!
...Me and my little baby!

Taking these really close up pictures has always been one of my favorite things to do with a camera...they are so fun trying to get a good shot out of stretching your arm as far out as you can...this one was a 'good one' as you can tell :)

Our girls LOVE their Daddy! I LOVE how they all interact together! Tyler is SO CUTE with them, and they absolutely LOVE IT when he is around (and I do too!)!

crazies

Last night, when it was totally snowing outside, Alexa was begging to go play outside! So Tyler took her out, and they had so much fun!
It's too bad that we are still taking "snow pictures" at this time a year, but at least these two know how to make the most of it!
*
This is Karli's favorite expression
...a smile with her tongue sticking out :)
She has a really long tongue!...she takes after her Mom...
She is so funny how she will just stick it out pretty much all day long!

"There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man." ~Winston Churchill

My mom is looking to buy another horse
--one that is good with kids--
so we went to enjoy it all with her!
It felt so good to be outside and around the horses again
...hurray for the good weather!
My girls absolutely LOVE being there with all the horses!
Alexa was in HEAVEN--riding, feeding, and running around!

Look at Karli's little excited face...

There are going to be plenty more days like these in the future!
I'm already excited!

STATE CHAMPS!

We are proud of you Amy!
Last week we spent a lot of time at SLCC watching my little sis' Amy's team play in State.
It was so much fun!
Their team did such a GREAT JOB!...and WON!
