All in an April Weekend

Tyler had his first 11 year old scout campout of the year
in our backyard
imagine a group of energetic 11 year old boys camping in your backyard...
Tyler is a great leader...amazing really
and he loves it!
Alexa loved the campout too...if you can't tell :)

Our girls are just loving there cousin Jade
and being able to spend so much more time with her

We had a good time getting together with our Krommenhoek clan
for our monthly birthday/FHE celebration

Mama K with some of the little grandkids
Ty and Samuel trying to light two matches together
look at that concentration
A lot of tramp pictures
they were all just too cute
Dad K with some of his little girls
Yes, still lovebirds...even after seven years
Cute Karli
someday there won't be any binky pictures :)
dress-up is the best
especially while jumping on the tramp
these two cousins love each other to pieces
We had a good, full weekend!

St. George Break

Hooray!  We made it to St. George!
Karli, Alexa, and I headed to St. George with some of my family for their Spring Break
We missed being away from Tyler so long,
but it was a well needed sunshine break
Tyler stayed busy with yard and home things...and I'm sure he hardly missed us :)
The first couple days were pretty chilly, but warmed up fast!
We enjoyed swimming, parks, tennis, biking, etc!
We love St. George!
Everyday we took time to feed the ducks,
one of the kid's favorite activities
The splash park in town was nice and refreshing on such a hot day
we celebrated my Mom's birthday while we were there
We love you!
Biking a really fun bike trail
Karli wasn't enjoying being stuck in the bike trailer on this hot day
towards the end I ended up carrying her with one hand while finishing up the trail
I probably looked a bit silly
but no matter how tight I'd fasten her in, she'd wriggle her way out
silly girl
Alexa Janis with her Grandma Janis
Our little "Karli the Explorer"
Visiting the temple grounds
This temple has always been one of my favorites
Goodbye St. George...until next time.

Easter 2010

The Easter Bunny came to our house and left fun treats on Easter morning!
I know the picture below is blurry, but just look at Karli's face
...she was so excited about all the "yummy's" all over the place :)
Tyler's parents were visiting for the weekend!
We had a great time with them and the rest the the Utah fam (we missed Amber & Dave's fam)

Karli having a "diaper hang out" with her cousin Jared
Tyler, Dad Shelley, and Garrett leaving for the Priesthood Session
Group picture after the egg hunts
Karli, Alexa, cousin Nathan, cousin Jared
Saturday morning was really cold and rainy
so our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt was moved to inside the church
The kids still had a good time!
Alexa with her good friend Merry
Karli with her Grandma Shelley
Friday night we all went to the Temple together!
It was a great experience to have everyone there (again, we missed Amber and Dave).
