Silly Faces

sILly FaCeS are what Alexa does best
in front of the camera these days...
But I also wanted to post about this amazing new park in our neck of the woods! We've been enjoying the splash park so much! It is easy to just zip over there on these hot days for a little cooling off! There is a fun fountain (that you see in the background), and also a little "interactive waterfall" or stream with fake rocks and things for the kids to play in!

Another fun activity my girls have been enjoying...very simple, but fun...is painting our patio with water! :) I give them a little cup or bucket of water and sponge paintbrush, and it keeps them busy for awhile!...a great way to practice writing their letters!

We are trying to enjoy everything about this warm weather while we have it...not really looking forward to the cold.

Pendleton's Visit

Tyler's sister Amber's family came for a visit about a week ago from Indiana!
We had a great time having them around, and we did A LOT of FUN THINGS!
We spent the weekend they were here at the CABIN in Sundance--WE LOVE IT THERE!
We did so much the week they were here, it has taken our little family awhile to recuperate! We are finally getting back to normal :)
TKAK enjoying the cabin
Ty and Karli enjoying a little time outdoors

Alexa "found" some pretty flowers...we enjoyed them during our stay there.

Cousin Nathan tackling Alexa right next to a beaver dam we found...these two love each other and "fight" each other like brother and sister :)

The THREE cousins--Jackson, Nathan, and Alexa--all born the same year, together again!
Watching Gordy...one of the only movies up at the cabin.

Alexa trying to play in the broken tire swing
SO MUCH FUN being able to visit the spot we got engaged a couple times each year!
STEWART FALLS is so pretty!

and
The guys

Some of our crazy group on a walk to the beaver dam

Nathan, Alexa, and Jackson posing with FUN Uncle Dave

The three cousins again

Here is a glimpse of some pictures Ronnie took of us while up there.
Thanks Ronnie!

Two Dollar Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point in August!
VERY crazy-busy, full of people, but FUN :)
We went to the Dinosaur Museum...not sure if I'm up for another Tuesday there or not...we'll see!

We'll miss you Dave, Amber, Jackson, and Megan!

Cupcake Club

Just had to post this cute little idea our neighbors had! This family of three adorable girls (around the ages of 8, 10, & 12) put on a Cupcake Club for little girls around the neighborhood. They colored, played games, and decorated cupcakes...all for $3. They did it to make money, and Alexa had a ball!

Already a dress-up Queen

Karli LOVES to play in Alexa's dress up box!
There is just way to much to pull out and throw on the floor, and dress up in! Her favorite is the necklaces! We are amazed at how well she puts necklaces on...and then the other day we found out she not only can put necklaces on, she can undress herself too! She is crazy and fun, and we could not live without her...but this age is a crazy one!

Girls Camp 2009

I was at GIRLS CAMP last week!
It was SO MUCH FUN!
It was up American Fork Canyon, so it made it easy for me to take care of my girls at night and still be there for every day at camp!
I am so lucky to be in Young Women's! I really feel like it is where I am supposed to be! I love the girls and I love the leaders!
I didn't take very many pictures throughout the week, but did take a couple at Tibble Fork Res!

THANK YOU

to my Mom and Mother-in-law for watching the girls during the days...it was so nice knowing they were in good hands! I didn't have to worry!
