Sunny Break

Tyler was asked to go to a conference for his work in ST. GEORGE this past week, and Alexa and I were able to go with him! It was a needed break. On Thursday and Friday, Tyler was at the Conference during the day, so Alexa and I hung out--swimming, playing, shopping, etc... It was nice to feel a little warmeth from the sun again. It had been too long. We stayed until Saturday so that we could all spend some time together. We had a lot of fun , and YES, we had to take time to do the traditional Dixie Mountain at Pioneer Park (no 'narrows' since I would have been the only one going up it)...

Lexa-Lou and Jazz Fan

Our little girl has been sick this week, which has been hard on all of us. Every day she gets better and better, and she is such a little trooper. She handles being sick pretty well for a 1 1/2 year old. But poor thing...I hate to see her not feeling well.

There are two things that Alexa is doing right now that I think are the cutest ever. First, she has finally learned to say her name (it's a pretty hard name for kids to say). She says it so cute. I love when she says it...I can't even pretend to mimic her because it comes out so unique. Second, she sings her own version of "Zip-iddy-do-da" which usually comes out something like "Zz-Do-Da-ay" and "A-way-do-da-do-da!" It is really funny how she will just start singing it to herself when she is feeling good. I think Tyler taught her that one.

Alexa taking pictures again...and me trying to jump into the shot.

Tyler's whole week was "made" when my Dad invited him to a Jazz Game. These tickets weren't just any tickets...they were the Lexus seats! This included being treated like a VIP--amazing seats, dinner, drinks brought to them, snacks, etc! Tyler was so excited, and came home from having such a good time with my Dad and some of my brothers.

taking pictures

Okay, so it has been a long time since I posted anything...we just have not taken any pictures lately. I am going to do better, and make our blog more interesting :) The only pictures on our camera right now are these two below. Tyler was giving Alexa "picture taking lessons" a few days ago. It was really cute of him to do since she loves any excuse to hold our camera. The first picture was her first picture (trying to take it of daddy), and the second one is her last picture. I wasn't paying attention to know if she got any help or not, but it's a fun picture to show anyway!

New Nephew

My brother Dallas and his wife Jamie just became parents to CALEB DALLAS KROMMENHOEK! I am a proud Aunt and wanted to share a few pictures of him...that is all we have seen of him since they live in San Francisco. Congrats you guys, he is a cutie!
