Our Little Mermaid

Alexa has been taking swimming lessons for a few months now...she is now in level three!
She is our little FISH!
She LOVES the water!
One mother could not believe Alexa was only 3 1/2...
"You have quite the little athlete!"
and I totally agree with her.
Alexa takes after Tyler in that way, she has always been very coordinated.
It is so much fun watching Alexa swim!

Below are three "moves" Alexa was demonstrating from her class...
1. Chicken    2. Airplane    3. Soldier

Aren't kids so cute in their goggles?!
This is Alexa's little friend Merry, they have so much fun together!

And these two are just cute/funny pictures that Alexa had me take because she was so excited about her glasses that her grandma gave her :)

Showing the Love

Sometimes I think, "Poor Tyler!"
But other times, "Tyler is the luckiest Dad in the world!"
His little girls LOVE HIM so much!
They change into different kids the moment their Daddy comes home from work
....they change to
LOUD
EXCITED
HYPER
CRAZY
ATTACHED
CLINGY
etc...
girls!
They just can't get enough of their Dad!
I hope he knows how blessed he is...!    :)
and I'm sure he does, because he is so great with them!

new favorite children's book

Have you had a chance to read these cute books?
Alexa and I LOVE them!
Very cute pictures
Very fun story
There is one more available now...Ladybug Girl Dresses Up!
I already can't wait to read it to my girls!
As you can't tell, I am totally in love with these :)

sledding!

We went sledding with a bunch of my side of the family last weekend, and had a blast!
Thank you Adam and Emily for planning it!
They even got a babysitter for the little ones who wouldn't enjoy the cold as much!

Amber, Me, Amy, Sara...love the snowsuit Sar!

Our final attempt trying to get as many people possible in our train
...didn't work out as well as we planned :)
But very very fun trying.

My cute lil' Lex
She is so much fun !

And my darling sweetheart
It was very nice being able to enjoy sledding together
...we missed Karli,
but it was so much fun being a little more care-free for a few hours!

Little Tease

This is a pretty good picture of Karli's fun and teasing personality...
She and Alexa were playing so good, and having so much fun,
but with Karli there always has to be a little teasing included!

My At-Home Workout Buddy

January is a popular month to discuss health and fitness things, so I thought it would be good to share a workout that I've really been enjoying! One of Babysteals.com's Daily specials was a combo pack of workouts from Lindsey Brinn.  Well, I ended up ordering them, and haven't even tired of them yet!  That's really good for me.  She does a really good job at having a variety of workouts on her videos, and she recommends doing them every other day so I have a chance to just do Cardio, run, bike, swim, or just take a break (pretty much whatever I feel like) on the off days.
I LOVE working out with her, she is fun and positive, and makes her workouts "doable" and fast.
If you need a new workout, check it out!

were SICK months for us...
Right when we feel like we are feeling good,
something else hits our home.
This past week has not been fun.
Tell me...will it ever end?!

A FULL December

Below are a few more pictures from our December activities!
We went sledding up the canyon with Tyler's side of the family, afterward we had dinner and played games at the church!

With my side, we had our annual fun at the church.  We played games and had a little spiritual thought.

Tyler's sister Amber and her family have been in town for a couple of weeks now!
It's been fun having them around!
Our girls have really enjoyed getting to know their cousins a little bit better!

We went with all the Shelley's to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights, the reindeer, and Santa!

These are just a few from Christmas morning!
We enjoyed spending Christmas Eve and Christmas morning as a family.

Santa brought our girls bikes this year!
They were so excited!

We have had a great December!
We played so hard, that we wore ourselves out...we have been getting over being sick this week. :(

Bring on 2010!  Happy New Year!
