enjoying this good weather while it lasts!

The girls had a good time riding horses with Grandma Krommenhoek (aka Mama K)

They LOVE being with the horses, and they love their grandma...

so it was definitely sad news when it was time to go home!

Thanks Mom! for taking time out of your day for us!!

We enjoyed the canyon with our good friends the Blacks.

Mindy took our family pictures (thank you, we love them),

and then we stayed and cooked dinner over the fire

...and chatted until late (until our kids were all sleeping in our laps).

This nice October weather has been wonderful!

We are trying to take full advantage of it

by spending a lot of time outdoors

doing the things we love like the park, riding bikes, etc!

"Back-Ta-falga"

We've been enjoying our pass to Trafalga lately! 

(Thanks Mom and Dad!)

We've had fun going with just our family,

and meeting up with some of my siblings that have a pass as well!

(cousin Noah is in some of the pictures, as well as my sis Sara)

Our girls LOVE going,

Karli cries every time it is time to leave,

and today Karli kept saying, "back-ta-falga"

This is what happens if the girls get ahold of water out on a nice day

...They get soaked!

Alexa was invited to a mermaid party, and was asked to wear her "mermaid attire"

...well, she has outgrown her Ariel dress-up (which is now Karli's),

so we had to get creative and whip something up!  :)

They had ponies to ride and a small petting zoo!

the DIRTY DASH 2010 "Hoek's Heros"

All the Krommenhoek brothers (and brother-in-law) put together a team

for the first annual dirty dash! 

It was CRAZY!

Their team was called the HOEK'S HEROS

with batman, hulk, spiderman, ironman, and superman!

It was a 10K through mud and obsticles, hills and waterslides!

We went to Tyler's grandparent's cabin

up Sundance this past weekend! 

We had a great time! 

It is a beautiful time of year to be in the mountains

with all the colored leaves and cooler weather.

We also got to celebrate Mom Shelley's birthday!
